Priorities

Today the people on the streets in my neighborhood are expressing their joy: Italy won the Euro semi-final.

Today my friends in the US are expressing their joy: the project of reform of health insurance was not struck down by the Supreme Court.

To each their own priorities.

    Health assistance was a priority for Europe since long time... so now we can enjoy the result of the match.

    Thanks! I am not going to ask you to disclose the political preferences of your US friends,
    but I wonder if the excitement about the result of the soccer game had a hidden political meaning. (did people have another Euro on their minds ?)
